Here's all the latest listeria news

We're hosting a short webinar with Janusz Luterek today at 12.30pm to address the listeria issue, and what the legal implications are...

There is currently a very large outbreak of listeriosis in South Africa. According to the National Institute of Communicable Disease (NICD), over 550 cases have been reported since the start of 2017.

They suspect that there is a single manufacturer of a product that is widely distributed and consumed across Gauteng, which is repeatedly contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

The NCID is requesting collaboration with the investigation by providing information on foods that have tested positive for Listeria monocytogenes in the last 6 months. They have also commitment that all information will be treated with the utmost confidentiality and will not be divulged to any entity outside of the NCID, as their only interest is protecting public health. It will sign non-disclosure agreements if required. Download the full article as a PDF here....
