Eins-Sci COVID-19 Testing Laboratory Solution

Analytica Lab Africa exhibitor Eins-Sci, an international company specialising in laboratory equipment, has compiled a complete SARS-CoV-2 (2019-nCoV) Testing Laboratory Solution including all the equipment and the quantities required to set up the laboratory.

Eins-Sci Director Bradley Rautenbach says the company has pioneered the release of an all-in-one laboratory equipment solution to help hospitals, enterprises and new testing facilities roll out full in-house testing capabilities quickly and easily. “Organisations with thousands of employees, health care groups and public sector facilities may need to invest in new laboratory equipment as the demand for COVID-19 testing rises around the country,” he says. “Additionally, due to the increase of tests, institutions may face challenges in storing and transporting samples to testing labs, leading to delays in positive and negative results. With internal testing laboratories, depending on the skill level of the laboratory technicians, they will be able to reduce potential delays and get results in a matter of hours,” he says.

The Coronavirus Testing Laboratory Solution includes all the necessary pipettes, liquid handling, autoclave, biosafety cabinets, computer and UPS, fridge/freezer, high speed micro centrifuge, nano centrifuges, real time quantitative PCR, dry bath and vortex mixers. The solution was designed in accordance with the best practice 2019-nCoV Nucleic Acid Test SOP released by Peking Union Medical College Hospital.

Lab Africa is the only trade fair for laboratory technology, analysis, biotechnology and diagnostics in South Africa. The show features both local and international market leaders, addressing visitors in South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa. The first analytica Lab Africa, in 2019, featured solutions by 148 exhibitors from 15 countries, as well as a strong supporting programme including a forum and demo area with practical presentations on food safety, laboratory applications and topics such as laboratory safety.

Messe Muenchen South Africa, organisers of several of Africa’s major industry trade shows, have co-located food & drink technology (fdt) Africa, IFAT Africa and analytica Lab Africa to bring science and innovation closer to food & drink, water, sewage and waste treatment, for one-stop access to the interconnected value chains in these sectors.

The format of the trade shows and their peripheral events are designed to spark knowledge transfer, showcase global trends and solutions to Africa’s challenges, catalyse business and facilitate introductions that support collaboration and economic growth.
