2020 has thrown many curved balls our way and highlighted opportunities for improvement. One of these areas is our organisational culture. This crisis also provides the springboard to a new normal – one where we focus on building a culture of food safety rather than just a set of policies and procedures which does not deliver when we really need it to.
Food Safety Culture can be defined as “The food safety attitudes, values and beliefs shared by a group of people.” An organization's food safety culture reflects “how we do things around here in relation to consistently ensuring we make safe food.”
Food safety management standards and even legislation is requiring assessment of food safety culture and improvement initiatives if weaknesses are detected.
We will assist you with an online culture climate survey and provide you with a report for suggested improvements. We can also provide a customised support programme.
